The General Contractor (Adams Construction) was awarded the project in the Fall of 2020 for a $7.8 Million dollar renovation of the existing 12,000 SF Facility, along with an expansion of 16,000 SF dedicated to the Children’s Library. SKY Engineering was selected as the MEP Engineering to design the Daikin VRV System that is used throughout the entire space to help with energy savings, comfortability in particular areas, and helping reduce humidification to the space. LED lighting replaced the existing T8 Fluorescent fixture in the remodel, helping to reduce the building energy cost. Significant upgrades were used in the plumbing design with additional toilet fixtures needed, due to increased occupant load, and replacement for low flow toilets with help reduce the water usage.
